The principle of this workshop is applicable in any outdoor situation. You will learn the basic technics to improve your portrait skills drastically.

Introduction to outdoor portrait photography workshop design just for you

In this workshop, you will learn the following:

You will practice setting up your person (composition), using a reflector, using natural light to light up your person, properly exposing your person, and using natural elements around you to create beautiful images. We will discuss camera settings and the best lens for portraits. While this is a hands-on outdoor workshop, you will practice and practice, and I will provide feedback on your composition. You will be provided with hand-outs on composition; you will practice and learn them. You will practice with each other taking photos as this is a hands-on workshop.

You will learn to plan, research your location, and prepare for your photoshoot.

Photography Courses Calgary offers hands-on workshops that are not offered in a classroom setting. The point of the workshop is to have you practice the taught material.

When you finish the workshop, you will be confident about taking photos of people, friends and family. You will have the confidence to take portraits of others.

Only 4 students per workshop.

The workshop is offered at Confederation Park, Calgary.
